Prevoty

Runtime application self-protection — security that lives inside the app itself, watching every request from the inside out. Brand, product, and marketing, designed solo.

Prevoty Brand Guide 2018 — a tilted bento wall of brand-guide pages: logo lockups, typography, color, ‘Secure by Default’, and UI, with the cover at the center.

Context

Prevoty pioneered RASP — runtime application self-protection — instrumenting applications so they could defend themselves from the inside, catching attacks like SQL injection and XSS at the moment of execution rather than guessing at the perimeter.

Approach

As the sole designer across the company, I owned the whole surface — the brand and logo, the product UI, the marketing site, and the collateral that explained a brand-new category to skeptical buyers.

Outcome

The work proved out: Imperva acquired Prevoty in 2018 for $140M, and the technology became Imperva's runtime protection line.
